are: Men’s summer clothes, men’s shoes, new or gently used underwear, socks,

bags, laundry detergent, bleach, toilet paper, safety pins, good boxes such
at banana, apple because they stack well.

YOUTH RYOT
Ryot is up and going . . . off to
kind of a slow start . . . but now - fully engaged and excited! We are set
for Saturday, August 7 (first Saturday in
August). We will be back to the "Happy Valley Bowl" (old H. V. Elementary
front yard) from 3:00 - 8:00 p.m.
Format this year will be a bit
different: Tentatively - Begin with games and snacks, then gather everyone
for local group performances, then break for food, and then gather for a
time of ministry in song and the word with the group "Steadfast" leading
that time.
If you want to set up a booth
highlighting your ministry let me know. We will use pop-ups for booths this
year.
All performances will be under the
big tent this year so bring chairs or be prepared to sit on the ground.
Please begin to spread the word.
Want to help? Please let us know - will need chaperones, food servers,
set-up & tear-down help, etc.
We will meet every Tuesday, 6pm, at
the Glasgow Wesleyan Church for planning the event. Everyone welcome.

CHURCH LIBRARY
A new church Library is in the process of being
formed in the old Ralston Room and we are asking for Christian Based books
to help stock our shelves. If you wish to donate books, please bring them to
the church office.

SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHERS NEEDED
FUMC has an active Sunday school
program and it is my honor to serve as your Sunday School Coordinator. FUMC
has many opportunities for involvement in the life of our Church. I would
like to invite several of you to become part of our Sunday school teaching
team. There is a need for a pair of dedicated Sunday School Teachers to
minister to our youth in grades 6, 7 and 8. If you are that person and feel
lead by the Holy Spirit to invest your time in the lives of these children
then contact me at 629-2962, or the Church office at 651-3445.

RECYCLED ENVELOPES
Please turn you recycled offering envelopes into the church office. DO NOT
PUT THEM IN THE PEWS for others to use. Everyone who uses the envelope
system is given their own number and it gets confusing if someone else uses
the recycled envelope. We will recycle them in the church office. Thank you.

HELPING HANDS
MINISTRY
The Helping Hands
Ministry is up and running and ready to provide services to our church
family. If you are in need of minor carpentry jobs, minor electrical jobs,
minor plumbing jobs, or odd jobs such as cleaning gutters, roof leaks,
turning mattress, hanging pictures, etc., please contact the church office
and we will contact someone to help you.

FAMILY LIFE CENTER RESERVATIONS
